Charitable contribution status
Bridge to Bold International, Inc. is a Maryland nonprofit organized and operated for charitable purposes. Tax deductibility depends on current recognition by the IRS and the donor’s individual tax circumstances. Donors should consult their own tax advisors.
Donation processing
Online donations may be processed by third-party payment processors. The donor should review the processor’s terms and privacy policy before submitting payment information.
Receipts and acknowledgments
Bridge to Bold should provide written acknowledgments for donations as required by IRS rules and good nonprofit practice. If a donor receives goods or services in exchange for a contribution, the receipt should identify the value of the benefit where legally required.
Refunds
Because donations are charitable gifts, donations are generally non-refundable except in cases of error, duplicate transaction, legal requirement, or Board-approved exception. Refund requests should be submitted promptly to [Insert donor services email].
Recurring gifts
Donors who select recurring gifts authorize periodic charges in the amount and frequency selected. Donors may cancel or modify recurring gifts by contacting [Insert donor services email] or using available donor account tools.
Restricted gifts
Bridge to Bold will make reasonable efforts to honor donor designations and restrictions accepted by the organization. If a restricted purpose becomes impossible, impracticable, or inconsistent with the organization’s mission or legal obligations, Bridge to Bold may seek donor direction or handle the gift in accordance with applicable law and Board policy.
